The Inner Circle of the Camarilla had the city of Atlanta under observation for some time, judging its possible value and position, both tactically and geographically. This is not to say that the jewel of the South has not felt the presence of Kindred for some time. Many of the vampiric Clans have had some representation within the domain since the new world was discovered.

Some Kindred have always named Atlanta home, others have merely served the interests of distant powers. This sparse presence was not enough to anchor the growing metropolis of Atlanta firmly under Camarilla control. But in the Fall of 1993AD, the decision was made within the Camarilla to take a stand and hold Atlanta. Representatives from each of the seven Clans were sent to settle and control this new Domain. So begins the Chronicle of AIT.
